Foundiry · Example plan Illustrative, not a real company

Goal: raise a $2M seed, targeting June 2027

**You push the AE hire from Jan 2027 to Jun 2027.** The leads you can work without them drop from 20 to 13 a month, and everything downstream recalculates.

New customers a month: 4 to 2.6, 1.4 fewer

$35k MRR: 1 Feb 2027 to 1 May 2027, 13 weeks later

Payroll a month: $60,000 to $20,000, $40,000 less

Ready for the round: 1 Feb 2027 to 1 May 2027, 13 weeks later

Start raising by: 1 Dec 2026 to 1 Feb 2027, 9 weeks later

Cash buffer at the raise: 12.2 months to 10.3 months, 2.0 months less

Net effect: five months of payroll back, a raise that starts nine weeks later, and two fewer months of cash cushion once it begins.

Calculations you can trace

## Less reconciling spreadsheets. **More informed decisions.**

Your hiring spreadsheet says one thing. Your revenue forecast says another. Foundiry connects both to the same company plan, so you can see what you can afford, what needs to happen next, and when you need to raise.

Update your actual numbers as you go. See where the plan has changed, trace the calculation, and decide what to do. Missing information stays visible instead of becoming a confident guess.

Who it’s for

## A growing company. **A small founding team.**

Built for B2B SaaS teams of two to ten, with paying customers and a raise ahead in the next six to twelve months. Especially useful when it’s your first time planning the company’s next stage.

1

### Know what to focus on next

You have customers and a product to build. Connect your next milestone to the people, revenue and cash it needs, so the next company decision has a clear starting point.

2

### Understand what you can afford

See how a hiring date changes payroll, runway and the milestones that depend on that role. Compare the consequences before making the commitment.

3

### Prepare for investor conversations

Keep the plan and the numbers behind it in one record. Share the sections you choose through a link you can expire or revoke.

How it works

## Set your goal. **Keep your plan current.**

Start with your fundraising target and the company you have today. Each monthly check-in shows where you stand, what changed and which decisions need your attention.

---

1. 01 **Set the goal**
Enter your fundraising target and timeline. Foundiry connects them to the revenue, cash and team you have today.
2. 02 **Get the plan**
Connect revenue, hiring and cash to the milestones before your raise. Missing information stays visible, so you know what to fill in next.
3. 03 **Check in monthly**
Record cash, revenue and customers. Compare your actual numbers with the plan to see where you’re ahead or behind.
4. 04 **See what moved**
Review the dates and milestones affected by a change. Accept a proposed date or keep your original target.

Nothing rewrites itself. Foundiry proposes. You accept the new date or keep the one you had.

Decisions, explained

## Make the call. **See the reasoning.**

Trace each answer back to the numbers you entered. If an assumption changes, you can see which dates and milestones it affects.

- **How much should we raise, and by when?**: Work backward from your cash needs, target close date and safety buffer to understand your fundraising target.
- **When do we actually have to start fundraising?**: See a start date based on your remaining cash and the time you expect fundraising to take. Keep it in view as your plan changes.
- **What happens if I push back a hire, or miss a month?**: See the affected dates recalculate, with a step-by-step explanation of what moved and why.
- **What if I don’t agree with what changed?**: Accept the new date, or keep the one you had. Nothing in the plan rewrites itself without you saying so.

Investors

## One current record. **Ready to share.**

Your deck, one-pager and financials start from the same company record. Share the sections an investor needs, choose an expiry, and see when the link is opened.

- One link, scoped to the sections you chose: expires when you say, revoked the moment you want
- They see the newest version, not the PDF you emailed in March
- You see when it was opened and how often

### And from the other side of the table

Investors get a real picture instead of a polished one: the plan, the numbers behind it, and what changed since last time. That’s the point of the whole thing. Less time performing, more time building.

Inside

## The loop is the product. **This is everything it feeds.**

Enter a fact once. Every screen reads it from the same place, so two of them can never disagree about the same number. Change it and the rest either recalculate or tell you they’ve gone stale. You do not have to visit any of these. The plan pulls from them whether you open them or not.

1. **Company profile**
Everything about your company in one record, versioned, so nothing is overwritten.
2. **Roadmap & check-ins**
Milestones, tasks and owners underneath the plan, plus a monthly check-in that keeps it honest.
3. **Finance & runway**
Burn, runway, what a hire costs you in months, and the date the plan says you have to start raising.
4. **Sales & discovery**
A light CRM that keeps talking to customers separate from selling to them.
5. **Hiring plan**
Headcount planned against the milestone it unblocks and the runway you actually have.
6. **Decks & one-pagers**
Built from the record as structured sections. Versioned, and you can lock what you’ve polished.
7. **Investors & data room**
Scoped, expiring, revocable links, with a log of who opened what.
8. **Programs & credits**
Curated cloud, compute and accelerator programs matched to your company.
9. **Usage & controls**
Review credit usage and team activity, with a clear cost to approve before each AI run.

What it costs

## Plan for free. **Add AI when you need it.**

Your roadmap, runway calculations and hiring plan are free, with no credit card required. AI drafting and reviews use credits and need a paid plan. You see the credit cost before each run and approve it yourself.

How we use AI

## We use AI. **Here is exactly where, and where we don’t.**

Your financial calculations come from your inputs. AI helps draft and review materials when you ask it to. You can see which is which.

### Most of what you see is arithmetic

Runway, monthly spending, milestone dates, and the effect of a hire are calculated from the figures you entered. The same inputs give the same result, and no language model chooses the number.

### AI drafts. You review.

Drafting a section, rewriting a deck, research with citations. Every one of these is a draft for you to check, is priced before it runs, and never happens without you pressing a button that shows the price.

### Your company data does not train anything

Only the context a specific approved action needs reaches a provider, under terms that prohibit training on it. Uploading a file stores it privately; it does not automatically extract facts into your plan.

Questions

## The things founders **ask first**

### Is Foundiry right for our team?

Foundiry is built for small B2B SaaS founding teams with paying customers, no finance lead and a raise ahead. It connects hiring, cash and revenue to your fundraising plan. You can start with the facts you know and fill in the gaps as you go.

### Can I use it if I’m bootstrapping?

Yes. Roadmap, finance tracking, hiring and sales work on their own. The connected planning workflow is currently built around a fundraising goal, so it is most useful when you expect to raise in the next six to twelve months.

### I already have a deck and a spreadsheet. Do I start over?

Use them as your starting point. The guided questions help you enter their key facts into your company profile. You can store your files privately, but uploading a file does not automatically extract its contents into your plan.

### What do investors actually see?

You choose which sections to share and when the link expires. You can revoke access and review link activity. Downloads are off unless you enable them. Investor and viewer seats are not billable.

### What is free, and when do I pay?

Planning, roadmap, runway calculations, hiring and investor sharing are free, with no credit card required. AI drafting and reviews use credits and need a paid plan. The free trial covers every feature, and AI starts when you subscribe. Compare plans on the pricing page before choosing a subscription.

### How are AI actions charged?

You see and approve the maximum credit cost before each AI run. Failed runs return their reserved credits. If the outcome is uncertain, the credits stay held while it is reviewed. Paid subscriptions renew on their billing schedule until you cancel.

### Is my company data used to train AI models?

No. Approved AI actions send only the context they need to providers under terms that prohibit training on it. Your financial calculations use the numbers you enter, rather than an AI model.

### Do I need to share how my product is built?

No. The questions focus on your company, team, customers and goals. Share the business facts needed for your plan and leave sensitive implementation details out.

### Do I have to use every module?

No. Start with the plan and use the roadmap, finance, hiring, sales or investor tools when they are useful to you. They share one company record, so you can build on what you have already entered.

### Who can access my company data?

Workspace access follows your team’s roles and permissions. Investor links show only the sections you choose to share and can be revoked. The security page explains the access controls; the privacy policy describes how data is processed.

### How do I cancel a paid plan?

Open Billing and cancel through the billing portal. You keep paid access until the end of the billing period, then your workspace moves to Free. You do not need to email support to cancel.
